great spot for exploring lucca’s charm and beauty
Staying here was fantastic because it was just a few steps from the entrance to the old city walls and also super close to the train station, making it easy to stroll through the historical center and enjoy local attractions like the beautiful St Martin Cathedral. the staff were friendly, and the buffet breakfast met all my needs as a solo traveler.

this hotel was so dated, the only time I felt pampered was when I got to sit on the hard bed. The shower? More of a phone booth. Woudl ve been nice to have received an upgrade, but I guess they save that treatment for the 'special' guests. Almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful , suggesting a great local restaurant that we truly enjoyed. The convenient location made it easy to explore the area, just a couple of minutes from the train station. Breakfast offered a nice variety, including tasty fresh fruit and delicious pastries that set a positive tone for the day. I particularly appreciated the seamless check-in experience with a staff member who was fluent in English, making communication smooth and enjoyable during our stay.
The air conditioning wasn’t very effective and struggled in the heat, which may be an issue for some guests.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beautiful city walls. Our teenagers loved the spacious Quadruple Room with toys and books. Breakfast was a hit with everyone—lots of choices, including fresh croissants and fruit salad, which we all enjoyed!
My children wished for better wifi access during our stay.
